Perfection: An Unwatched Loop
What Perfection Means….
In the Cambridge Dictionary, perfection means the state of being complete and correct in each way. To get acceptance and approval from the outside world, people strive for complete and correct in every way. In the era of the smart generation, students get 100 percent scores in language subjects, but is it ever possible to receive 100 percent correction in every task for the person to attain in this fast-changing world? Let’s delve into the same.
Does Real Perfection Exist?
The answer to this question lies within a person's inside view, rather than based on some outside judgment. No person can be perfect from the views of another hundred people present outside. Perfection is the outcome of real efforts perceived by a person's own mind and heart, like self-perception. Perfection differs for people based on their efforts, resources, environment, and expectations. Thus, perfection exists only when viewed from a person’s inside view. If we strive to find perfection from other people based on their different expectations, then it would not be real perfection. It can hide the true and pure perfection of a person.
Expectation, Satisfaction, and Perfection
Every task has a process and everyone wants complete and correct in every way for the same. Based on perfection on real and self-perception, the following process can be viewed. First, Expectations that reflect the real aim of the person. Real expectations make real perfection easier. Expectations can also be reflected as the standards for the task. Expectations are decided by the capabilities and competencies of a person. Further, Satisfaction is the biggest and next step towards real perfection. If a person is perfect for the outside world, but in real not truly satisfied by his efforts, that’s the false perfection or just a false representation of perfection. Expectation and satisfaction when matched together, make perfection in the task in a real way for a person who he can truly feel confident about it.
Just like change is the only constant thing, perfection can never be constant in the imperfect world. No person can be perfect all the time, and there is always a scope for improvement for every next task. Is something messy going on in the mind? So let’s make it clear. Perfection is “an unwatched Loop” that only a few people have observed. Expectations and satisfaction can lead to perfection for a person to view from his self-observing skills, but there is always some scope for correction and completion in the next similar task or new task, then again striving for perfection and so on. It is a never-ending process because change is the king of the imperfect world as the perfect world is stagnant. If the world can’t be perfect, how can a person be perfect in every way?
Let’s remove the false assumptions of being perfect in every way, and focus on the real expectations and satisfaction in life. We should not caught up in this loop, and always focus on satisfaction rather than perfection in ourselves. Choose comfort over competition and satisfaction over perfection.

Sedentary Lifestyle- An Unsung Threat
According to the Britannica Dictionary, lifestyle means a particular way of living. It’s typically a matter of choice for people rather than compulsion. Where choice comes, comfort comes first! This comfort gives rise to the new lifestyle “Sedentary Lifestyle”; a lifestyle type in which one is physically inactive and does little or no physical movement or exercise. That’s indeed a popular lifestyle that has been covering the huge adult population of India. According to the Hindu News Article published on June 26, 2024, nearly 50% of the Indian adult population is physically inactive and prone to high-risk diseases.
Even a sedentary lifestyle is not just a matter of choice but it’s born by compulsion. How? The majority of the adult population is doing desk jobs with laptops and desktops which is a compulsion for them to sit a longer number of hours of their day on just one chair!! And, Choice begins with online shopping, online food delivery, time spent on social media, and even online product necessities in just a minute to reach home through various online apps. Convenience or comfort is more related to choice! This combination of “Compulsion and Choice” makes a sedentary lifestyle a popular and “unsung threat” in every home of India’s urban population. It’s related to no physical moments but adversely affects mental health as well because physical and psychological health are perfectly correlated to each other.
Now what’s next then, do we have to wait for diseases like obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and more like adverse cancer or strokes to capture us soon, or an urgent need to take some action to stop such a sedentary lifestyle from controlling our lives? There could be many ways that doctors and experts would recommend to reduce the effect of a sedentary lifestyle like exercise, 30-minute walks, etc. Surely this could benefit but the overall solution lies between choice and compulsion. The bridge between the both could be filled by “What, When, and How”. Consider a simple example; A person who is currently doing a 9 AM to 5 PM desk job and wants to reduce the effect of a sedentary lifestyle has to look up the sources of such lifestyle in his life like “What are the sources?” In his case, it’s more of compulsion. Then he has to see “when he can reduce the same”, inevitable on choice! And next is the action time! “How I can do it” In his case, he can be more physically active on weekends, on morning walks, and many more where choice falls low compared to compulsion.
It’s been an unsung threat as most of the adult population make it a part of their way of living which is according to people more comfortable and convenient, but that needs urgently to be acknowledged on the adverse consequences of such a lifestyle. Due to the desire to live a luxury lifestyle, we are following a sedentary lifestyle. Think about it, work between your “Choice and Compulsion” and fill the gap with “What, When, and How” as it’s a common thought “Health is pure Wealth”!
Always desire to live a healthy lifestyle!!

Pride, Positivity and Proud
Beginning
with my first blog, always felt mixed experiences exploring different opinions
and thoughts simultaneously. I wondered about the topics that I should choose
for my first blog, and eventually choose the topic that actually inspired me
for my first blog “The Pride”. Whether any student or working professional,
everyone deal with uncertain and challenging situations several times.
Sometimes difficult tasks become easy to adapt beginning with pride and easy
tasks become difficult and chaotic with no pride. Accordingly, an intellectual
person makes choices with their tasks.
There is another
word similar to pride is “PROUD”. We frequently use this word in our daily life
to congratulate someone on their achievements like “Proud of you”, it seems to
show the end result of their work. Actually, the connection between these two
is simple; Begin with pride towards end up with proud in their efforts.
In the Cambridge
dictionary, pride means a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction that you get because
you have done something good. That feeling represents the outcome of hard
efforts. If we imagine that feeling initially and inculcate it in the beginning
of efforts that would provide us clear goals and satisfaction in doing what we
want to achieve. Any beginning step for
any task requires confidence, clarity, and consciousness (3C), and that combination
of three forms “The Pride”.
There is another
term associated with pride and proud is "Positivity". It is always said positive
process gives positive results, that’s inherently true. But
have anybody thought of where this positivity generates, it’s starts from a sense
of satisfaction and pleasure, again “The Pride”. It’s interesting to see many “P's”
in doing simple or difficult task and how they correlate with each other. Consider the student who struggles to have
good marks in his exams, and is simply following the 3P’s; Begin preparation
with pride, show positivity in the process, and results that make everyone proud
of him.
This process is continuous and never-ending in nature. Proud adds more pride in the next task and eventually all these contribute in achieving many tasks to achieve the goal of life.
Similarly, that’s
my blog's working. Hope this blog helps a lot of us to achieve what we want
to do. Let’s simply following “THE PRIDE, THE POSITIVITY AND THE PROUD” and see
how it’s actually work on real task tackling with various everyday challenges. Thank
you to all my readers for investing your precious time. Have a good day!!
